Commit to action!

“The only way to predict the future is to create it.” – Abraham Lincoln

Push your comfort zone. Transform into a person of action!

Do you struggle with ups and downs? Like, one day, you’re motivated, you hit the gym, you scarf down salads, you stock up on fruit. You start walking every day, or even running! Look out Scott Jurek, there’s a new sheriff in town!

A month later, you’re back to eating like shit. The thought of exercise prompts dread. The All-In or All-Out spiral slings you back to reality.

If you’re plagued by the All-In or All-Out bug, which many of us are (including me), there is one way to overcome it…

Commit to action!

I can’t press this point enough. You MUST commit to action. Action prompts results and it’s the only thing that ever will.

This doesn’t mean you need to run a marathon or join the Special Forces. Start where you are.

Sign up for a 5k, or if you’re feeling brave, maybe a 10k run. If you’ve never done anything like that, start with a 5k. Pay the fee. Commit!

If you really want to get crazy, sign up for a Spartan Race or a training course with the 3 of 7 Project team. Doing so may very well change your life.

Don’t worry about how hard it is or how scary it is. Just commit. Figure out the rest later.

If you need me, I can help you prepare for whatever you sign up for.

Commit to action!

Doing nothing changes nothing.

Once you commit, you force action. When the All-Out cycle rolls around, you fight through it. You can’t fall back into the same old cycle and thought process.

Because you’re committed. You have a 5k coming up!

Commit to action!

Your effort, your choice, your life!

Morning run through Brown County Indiana State Park, 2023. Taking control of my life!
